I’ve received an e-mail telling me about the services offered for parents: Tips for parents in Ontario. It is designed to help parents with their kids. As Canada is a multicultural country, you can also find the guide in other languages other than English.
This topic is very important and I think parents should read them. If you are an immigrant living in Canada, maybe one of the reasons you chose Canada is to give a better life for your kids. To do so, you have to understand that the culture in Canada is different from the culture you’re used to live in your country. Searching for tips for parents I also found some useful websites from other provinces as well: Alberta and British Columbia.
Most of my readers are interested in living in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta (I think almost 70%). So, you will find this guide useful. Some of the topics covered:
- Internet safety tips (British Columbia internet safety tips, Alberta internet safety tips)
- Tips to help your child with math
- Tips to help you communicate with the teacher
- Tips to help your child ready for school
As you can see, there are a lot of useful information for parents. Doesn’t matter if you’re living in Canada or not, you can find them useful. If you’re living in Canada, that’s good. Even the province that you’re living in Canada is not important. Just read and learn. If your English skills are not good enough yet (you better improve your skills if you’re planning to live in Canada), the Tips for parents guide in Ontario is also available in other languages.
