How to live in Canada Newsletter

by Gean Oliveira on September 16, 2009

Today I was looking at my stats and noted that more than 50% of my readers use e-mail to receive information. If you’re following me on Twitter, you noticed that I’ve been posting new and good deals about products, services that could benefit me, and maybe you as well. Then, if some people don’t have time and just check e-mails at the end of the day and even on weekends, it is hard to keep up to date with this blog, right?

I realized that I can create something new that you could use in the future for reference, and signed up with Aweber. Basically it is a service that gives me the tools that I need to send e-mails to my readers (that are subscribed to my newsletter). You know that, once I publish a post on my blog you also receive e-mails. However, I don’t have enough control over these e-mails. That’s why I signed up with Aweber.

What is important for you is, if you’d like to receive e-mails (not the posts that I publish on my blog – for this you have to subscribe) with tips, information in general, deals, job postings, notices, something that I  found useful and important and would like to share with you, subscribe to How to Live in Canada newsletter. Just keep in mind that I am paying for this service and I am only able to get 500 subscribers.

As a prize, once we get to the 500 subscribers I will have a giveaway with two prizes of $25 gift certificate that you can choose from one of the following companies: Starbucks, Future Shop or Chapters. If you’re not in Canada yet, I can transfer the $25 to a Paypal account or give you a gift certificate that you can donate at Kiva (I would love to do this, as you’re helping a person in need).

It is easy to participate. Visit How to Live in Canada  and subscribe to HTLIC Newsletter. Don’t forget to confirm your request (if you don’t confirm the request, you will not participate).
