Election results in Canada

by Gean Oliveira on October 20, 2008

I know I am late and maybe you already know the election results in Canada. If you don’t know doesn’t matter – everything remains the same. Or should I say almost the same? The difference is that maybe today the Liberal Party of Canada will have another leader!

That’s what the media is saying today: Stephane Dion will resign as a leader after the devastating results for himself and also his party. Since the results, he did not appear in the media, radio, whatever you can think. He is planning his future, I hope. And this not include being the Liberal leader for the following years.

Other than that, the elections were a waste of money. The prove is that a lot of Canadians did not cast their votes. Maybe they new that nothing was going to happen? Or they did not vote because they don’t like politicians?

What is your opinion? If you have a chance to vote, would you go and cast your ballot?
