Earthquake in Haiti

It is being a week since we heard about the disaster in Haiti. It is impossible to not think about what is happening there an how we could help them. It is clear that what we can do is to donate money but sometimes we don’t know the agency that we would like to donate. If you’d like to donate money, please take a look at the Haiti Relief website at CBC.

Here in Canada the Haitian community is big. The Canadian government is matching donations up to $50 million dollars. If you don’t know, our GG (Governor General) – MichaĆ«lle Jean was born in Haiti and immigrated to Canada when she was a kid with her parents. This is her statement about the earthquake in Haiti:
