Who is Gean Oliveira?
I am an immigrant from Brazil and I’ve been living in Toronto since March, 2003. I am a web developer and my goal is to use this blog to help people interested in visit Canada, immigrate to Canada, study in Canada or work in Canada.
Why did you create this blog?
How to Live in Canada aims to help people interested in Canada. Back in 2003, when I’ve got my visa as a Skilled Worker, I did not find a lot of information about immigrants living here.
I am not a lawyer and I cannot help you with immigration questions. I did all the process by myself using one website: Citzenship and Immigration Canada. Use it as your guide, as your reference. Everything that you should know is there. Just read and follow the steps.
What do you do?
I am working as a web developer in one of the biggest companies in Canada and for sure you’ve heard about this company before. If not, maybe you are not in Canada yet 
And I am a volunteer at Brazil Angola Community Information Centre. Once a week I go there and help people from different countries and backgrounds with questions related to the settlement in Toronto. In addition, I am also responsible for Brazil Angola’s website and a member of its board of directors. If you need help, it will be a pleasure to help you. All services we provide are free.
